At first it seemed there were a zillion pieces to assemble but there were only a few. very nice table, smooth rolling, quiet wheels. the cup holder is too small for any cup i have and has a hole cut in the bottom making it unusable for placing small items--can be blocked with tape probably.The biggest problem is that when raising the table it doesnt stay up at any height. there is no 'catch' to lock it in place. the assembly instructions were difficult to read--drawings only no words. there was one bolt to remove but no clear picture if where it goes. perhaps this bolt is the locking mechanism but I sure dont see itGood size table , Hate the wheels seems most of the things I buy have these crappy plastic wheels , One I couldn't even get on because the plastic mold was over the hole I had to melt the plastic off to get the wheel on probably change the wheels at some point or just put slider caps on it. Table goes up nicely but takes my body weight to get it back down. Just one of those items thats a hit or miss but it will work for what I need.My 93 year old mother in law needs to eat on a TV tray height table at her recliner chair. This adjustable height table is perfect. It rolls easily away from the chair when she needs to get up. It is much sturdier than a TV tray as it doesn’t topple over easily.at it's full height it's about the height of my sofa arms - it's great for a sofa desk. i was hoping it was going to be a bit higher so i could use it at my exercise bike. that's OK though because at the sofa it makes for a great desk or tray option. i can work from my sofa is what it boils down to ... and that's a bonus. it's wildly sturdy, when i am using it i don't get a lot of shaking or vibration from the activity. and the wheels make it very easy to move around. it's really quite handy to have around for a 2nd desk when i want to work elsewhere. and because the 'stand' is on the end vs in the middle - i can pull it over the sofa with the bottom portion under so that it is out of the way. it's really been a great option for an at the sofa desk.I like the black because it doesn’t look like a 1956 hospital table but it is NOT designed for most beds, have to use it as a side table because it won’t adjust high enough to go over bed, let alone if it needs to clear a person’s lap. Kinda useless for the purpose we needVery sturdy. Easy to raise and lower
