I recently bought this to display a portion of my ever-expanding house plant collection in my home office. I am very pleased with the quality for the price.First, it was well packed -- not a lick of damage to be found -- and pretty easy to assemble. I put it together solo as my hubby was away for the weekend. Even with a two-cat-disadvantage, I completed it about 20 minutes. You don't need your own tool set handy; it comes with an Allen wrench that works very well. All of the holes were cleanly and correctly drilled, and extra screws were included, which was thoughtful. The wood portion is thick and solid (doesn't appear to be laminate; if it is, it's very well done), as well as reinforced by metal around the underside perimeter and across the middle. I did keep light-weight items on the top shelf, to reduce the chance of bowing, and protected it with wood oil and cork coasters I'd purchased from Amazon in recent months. The stain on the wood and finish on the metal is lightly aged, but tastefully so, and the overall effect is warm and rustic, yet with a contemporary, elegant touch. It would blend nicely with a number of decor styles. It's clean, but not overly simple or decorative/fancy.The lower two selves are an open, diamond "mesh," which allows good airflow/light for my plants, but it's something to consider if you're going to use this as a console table to display items with a narrow base or that may have small "feet" as they might not be stable enough with the widish pattern and open areas. The unit's plastic feet on its base protect the floor and help keep it stable, and are hidden in our carpet. There was safety hardware for you to affix the table to the wall, if you have small children and tipping is a concern. I didn't use it since that isn't an issue for us, and I distributed my heavier plants towards the back of the unit. This keeps it stable for our use. I have to put some effort into it to make it feel like it could tip.Again, I'm really glad I bought this. Wish I would have gone this route months ago. It's a big upgrade from my previous shelving in size, quality, and overall aesthetic. The stand is very versatile and sturdy. It can easily hold a small tv. The top is wood and can blend with different colored woods. Can not beat the price.Easy to assemble! Works great for my intended purpose, which is to hold my pots and pans and crock pots!Really nice shelf - we have it placed in front of a window to display numerous plants without taking up a bunch of space in the room. Nice low profile piece. We removed the middle shelf to make room for larger plants on the bottom, and it is still super-sturdy and pretty. Very easy to assemble.Sturdy -- quality pieceI put this together in less than 20 minutes. It is sturdy and perfect for a shelf next to my desk to hold all the little things. I may get another one for the hall by the door.it would be. It came with feet which helped to make it level. I like the very narrow size and I like the height. It's a little longer than I would like for the area I have it in but that is not their fault. One thing to keep in mind is the top is the old laminate picture style so you want to probably just clean with a dust cloth or at most a damp rag. This is the perfect little shelf for my tiny house. Fits behind the sofa and barely takes up any room. Using as a plant shelf and it is perfect size and shapeThis is so easy to put together my grandmother could do it and she's been dead for 23 years...This is a great value....The wood wasn't scratched for me and it was packed really well with a piece of Styrofoam between each layer....I'll be honest and say the steel mesh on the shelves will bend if you put sonthing too heavy on it..but you can put light items.....small plant...ukulele....dildo......etcGreat quality, solid and easy to resemble.East to assemble, arrived really quickly and am loving the look in my entry hallway. I am NOT a decoratey person and this little area is making me way happier than it should.I wanted something not to deep because it’s a walkway through here and this has been perfect. Now the test is how long I can keep the top clear of the 3 kid clutter creep….Easy to assembleAdjustable legsSolid buildLooks greatI am using it out doorsPackingPacking came with a wrack of holes and dents. Mostly due to the delivery guys. The inside was perfectly safe. A+ too the company packing.Putting it togetherWasn't that bad, some force was needed to make the legs align with the shelves. Otherwise they give you the tools you need to put it together. Help is not needed to put it together.OverallNice looking table. Goes great with many different styles. Would get it again.
