Weather is getting hotter in Texas and I need an umbrella to help keep the sun out while sitting next to the pool. Saw another one like this at the Home Depot near me, and like it a lot so I went on Amazon and found this one. Pricewise, it’s a few dollars cheaper than Home Depot and cannot beat free shipping from Amazon.Pros: durable material. I had it out for a few weeks and the umbrella looks good still, great at blocking the sun. It has been raining a lot here, and of course, it’s water proof so I just leave my outdoor chair cushions on the chairs and put the umbrella up. Save me the trouble of taking the cushions in each time it rains. The pole is hard iron and very sturdy. In order to open/ close the umbrella, there is a spinner that was super light and my little nephew can reach and got it done with no issue.Cons: nothing so far. The only thing that I would think that buyer need to know is, the base has two metal bars that cross. They are still light and you are supposed to purchase sand bags to put inside the hollow base. They came with two big bags for sand/ rock storage. I did not know that I had to buy sand so after assembled the whole thing, I had to run to the store to get them. Not a cons, but I would like to know in advanced since nobody tells us. I recommend buying sand instead of rock as it’s much cheaper. I spent around $17 for three big bags of sand. It is overkill but I would rather not having the whole thing blown awaySome umbrella has little light inside that I found it’s not bright and personally did not care for the light. This umbrella is cheaper, durable and I got to hang my favorite string light and make it my way when I want it to look good. One umbrella is enough for us at this time. We are debating if we need another one to cover another section. We are happy with the purchase
